About Fort Wayne Trails
  
Fort Wayne Trails is a collaborative effort to improve the quality of life throughout the city through the development of a multi-use trail system. Trails act as both linear parks for improved health, recreation and preserved green space, and as alternative transportation routes to reduce traffic and congestion and provide our city with economic benefits. This network of safe and

biking

interconnected trails for any non-motorized transportation use will provide permanent infrastructure to make Fort Wayne a more vibrant area to live, work and play. Aligning with current statewide plans, the goal of Fort Wayne Trails is to provide trails for all area citizens within 15 minutes of their home.

Working together with Allen County, New Haven, the State of Indiana, and other area non-profit groups, Fort Wayne Trails is expanding the developing regional trail network in Northeast Indiana. Fort Wayne Trails members include the following local government agencies and non-profit organizations:
